Hi friends,

This is a post  about a drawing I made on weekend.

On Sunday evening, I was relaxing in the balcony, sipping a hot ginger tea 🙂 . It has just stopped raining.The plants in my garden looked more greener with tiny rain drops all over them.The flowers were looking  refreshing.Then I saw a butterfly came hovering around the flowers .

Hi all,

It’s been a  long time since I posted.When it is a vacation time for kids,I hardly get time for my hobbies.They keep me busy whole day:-).As their school has started properly,now I am getting some time for something to try.Today I have come up with this warli painted wooden box.

I had a small wooden  box that ordered from itsy bitsy.It is a tiny but cute box,so thought of trying my all time favourite warli painting on that :-).

I have kept the design simple and have used only black colour.

Lippan kaam – wall hanging

Hi there,

I am here with a colourful wall hanging using Lippan kaam or mud and mirror work .I had started it one month back but somehow was not able to finish it all these days.I started again three days back and finally it is ready 🙂  .This is my fourth addition to the Lippan kaam or mud/mirror work gallery.

This time I have used orange background with black border.And also I have used mirrors with different shapes as shown.Here a thin wooden panel is used as a base.The clay I have used here is fevicryl shilpkar clay. We can also use air drying clay like mont marte.
